Bench desk EVOLVE

Bench desks are a popular way to keep costs down and save space in the modern open-plan office!

The desk system is very easy to assemble and adjust as your needs change. To extend the bench desk, simply move one of the legs from the original desk to the end of the bench run and fit an extension piece. The recessed leg of the add-on should then be positioned in the centre of the desks. You can continue to extend the run with additional extension desks to create a bench desk that suits the needs of your workplace. Note that you will need at least one standard 2, 4 or 6 person back-to-back desk in a run to support any additional add-on desks.

The EVOLVE bench desk system has a white powder-coated frame made of square profile steel, which provides a robust construction capable of withstanding the demands of a busy office. The legs come with floor levellers that can be adjusted to ensure stability. The desk features sliding desktops with a scalloped cut out at the rear for convenient access to cables. The desktops are made of 25 mm thick laminate with ABS edges. To extend the desk, simply move one of the legs to the end of the bench run and fit an extension desk.

You can further customise the desk by fitting desk screens to better delineate workspaces, reduce noise levels and provide some privacy. You can also fit cable trays underneath the desktops and cable risers between the central legs to keep computer cables under control.
