Stacking grit bins

Keep access to your premises safe in all weather conditions by always having grit salt to hand. These grit bins protect salt and grit from the elements all through the winter but can be stacked and stored out of the way, on a pallet for example, during the summer months when they are not needed. They are fitted with hinged lids that have a moulded handle to make them easier to open and have forklift grooves to make them easier for you to move into place. “GRIT” is moulded into the lid so it will not scratch off, making the bin is easy to identify; it comes in high-visibility yellow as standard but other colours can be requested – please call our sales team for more details.

It is a good idea for any business to keep their own store of salt for gritting car parks and pathways in icy conditions but is particularly recommended for busy public areas such as station platforms and shopping centre car parks, as well as schools – anywhere that may not be gritted by the council.

Don’t forget to stock up on grit salt well ahead of the winter months and make sure you have a snow shovel or salt spreader available so you can quickly cover your premises to protect staff and visitors.
