The add-on section is supplied with one wall-mounted upright onto which you hook one end of the shelves. You hook the other end onto the wall-mounted uprights of the basic section. Because the wall-mounted uprights are perforated, you can affix the shelves at any height. The shelves are made of tubular steel with birch detailing. The tubular-steel construction prevents dust and dirt from building up on the shelves. The shelves have drip trays that collect dirt and water to make cleaning easier.
