This forklift truck cage has a sturdy construction featuring a square profile frame and slip-resistant, metal mesh flooring. One of the short sides of the cage is made of metal mesh to provide protection from the forklift truck while giving good visibility.
The safety cage is equipped with one-metre high protective railing and skirting that is 10 cm high. The gate folds upwards and is self locking.
The work cage is intended for one or two people and is designed for use with a forklift truck. The forklift's lifting capacity must be four times the cage's total weight and the wheel width must be wider than the width of the cage.
The safety cage conforms to the Swedish standard SS3628 3628. Before using the work cage, the cage and forklift truck should be inspected in accordance with AFS 2006:7 and guidelines for temporary personnel lifts.
It is possible to manufacture the work cage to order, for instance by changing from the standard for fork tunnels (230 x 75 mm). Contact our sales team for more information.
